Just finished inking this without messing it up. Now hopefully I don’t mess it up when I paint it. That’s what I love about using real mediums versus photoshop. There is no undo, the stakes are high do or die. I think it makes the artist more aware and present when you don’t have the automatic crutch of the undo button.
Leopards and Tigers have always being some of my favorite subjects to draw or paint. I’ve always thought that taking a bath as a leopard cub would be scaring and horrible so naturally I decided to share this phobia in a new children’s book. This is a finished ink and watercolor for the aforementioned book.
I’m no animator, but I like animating when I have the time. While messing around with the photoshop CS5 I did this quick (and I mean really quick) animation test of a baby leopard running after a beetle.
